The Gate is a small hotel in the Mashraba neighbourhood of Dahab, a short walk from the seafront. It is where The Gate Freediving is based — which means if you are here to train or do a course, you can roll out of bed, eat breakfast, and be in the water within the hour.
The facilities are clean, well-maintained and straightforward. Breakfast is included in all room rates, along with towels, free tea and coffee, and water throughout your stay.
25 metres, two lanes, maintained daily. Used every day by our students and course participants. If you are staying at The Gate but not doing a course, ask us about pool access for static or dynamic training.
Walking distance from the seafront restaurants and shops. 5–10 minutes by car to the Lighthouse dive site. 20–30 minutes to the Blue Hole.
