An evening in the desert with the Bedouin people. Away from the seafront and into something quieter and older.
We drive out of town into the Sinai desert, where a Bedouin family hosts dinner around a campfire. The food is cooked fresh: traditional Sinai dishes, the kind you will not find on Dahab's boulevard. There is tea, there is fire, and there is nothing else around for miles.
It is a good way to see a side of the Sinai that most visitors miss entirely. The Bedouin people have lived in this desert for generations and know it in a way that is impossible to replicate in an afternoon excursion. An evening with them is something else.
No experience or preparation required. Just show up ready for good food and a very clear sky.
